I met Lauren over 3 years ago when I joined her Barre class at my gym – I absolutely loved the class, but more than that, I loved Lauren’s vibe – positive, kind & gentle, super passionate, and completely authentic!
Fast forward three (covid impacted) years, my fitness had plummeted along with my self-esteem and my enthusiasm for movement had all but disappeared – I used to love moving my body, but I was at the point where it all seemed too hard and I wasn’t sure how I was going to turn things around? For some reason, Lauren popped into my mind one morning and the very next day I saw a post on social media talking about the F.I.T.Method – it was as though she was speaking directly to me and I decided that was what I needed to do!
A lot has changed for me in the past 6 months, all for the better, and it started and continues with Laurn’s support and encouragement. Lauren’s approach is holistic – mind, body & soul! I have been reminded how important it is to accept and love myself for where I am right now. Nourishment, not punishment is one of Lauren’s favorite sayings; when we come from a place of self-love and worthiness, we want to nourish our body by doing things that are good for us – 6 months ago I was ‘punishing’ myself for what I wasn’t doing, now I’m challenging that thinking every day, and prioritising things which make me and my body feel stronger, healthier and nourished.
I can’t thank you enough Lauren, for your positivity, energy, time, and commitment and for your belief in me – I feel so much better about myself and am looking ahead with positivity and enthusiasm – from one ‘goddess’ to another, thank you x
